Men’s
Stand Firm. Act Like Men.

Hey Men of Warren Belvedere!
April is here and that means Man Night is right around the corner and with it is coming a challenge from Pastor Stephen from 1 Corinthians 16:13- to act like men.
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”
Four short commands. Four clear calls to action.
Be Watchful
Open your eyes. Stay alert. Be on guard.
A watchman pays attention. He knows what danger looks like before he sees it. He’s prepared and rooted in truth so he may stand against anything that may come.
Men are called to live with that kind of awareness. Be watchful over your heart’s entry points (eyes and ears), your habits, and the direction your life is moving. Be watchful over your home, your marriage, and your children. The enemy prowls around like a lion and he often works through distraction, comfort, and compromise.
Stand Firm
Standing firm means you’ve already decided what you believe and your feet are planted.
Culture shifts. Opinions change. Pressure rises. But a man who has hidden the truth of God’s Word in his heart isn’t moved by the wind. He doesn’t adjust his convictions based on the rising and shrinking tides of the world around him.
Men don’t stand firm through a loud voice or combative nature. But their roots are deep. When others move with the tide, they remain planted in Christ.
Be Strong
Biblical strength is not about intimidation or dominance. It’s about long obedience.
Strength is the man who keeps praying when the response is silence. Strength is the man who pursues his wife when the response is empty. Strength is the man who keeps showing up day after day. Strength is the man who does the right thing when he is alone.
Real strength is steady faithfulness over time.
Act Like Men.
