A Life of Prayer: 911

9-1-1. Three numbers that will forever be linked with tragedy. On that day, I and several staff members were huddled up in my office watching this tragedy unfold on TV. And when the second tower came down, we did the only thing we knew to do. We huddled up and we prayed together. Well now, 22 years later, we still live in a world in which things seem to come crashing down around us, whether it be from natural disasters, gun violence, mental illness, job loss, economic uncertainty, divorce, things still crash down around our lives. And so this week I want you to spend time praying, maybe even huddling up with others, to pray for people who feel like their lives are crashing down in their own 9/11.
