Called to Pray: Day 18

Pam Stewart · February 18, 2021

Reading Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. -Ephesians 4:31-32

Prayer Lord, it is easy for me to look at the world and say it is angry; it is easy for me to point the finger at others as being the problem. But, Lord, I am the problem. Forgive me of my anger, my bitterness, and my frustrations that can turn to slander. Lord, I ask that You would help me to dwell in peace with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ—that I would be quick to forgive and that the words of my mouth would bring forth life and not destruction.
