This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.  Psalm 18:30

As you pray this week remember that God is perfect, and His ways are perfect. He keeps His word, and He shields His people. Because of this you can praise God for who He is and thank Him for all that He allows to touch your life. Whether you are in a place of rest and peace, in a time of illness or distress, or in a time of waiting and wondering, God’s ways are still perfect. He is able to shield you from the enemy, from negative thinking, and from fear and doubt if you will come to Him for refuge and relief. Remember that God does not always respond to us as we see fit but rather in His perfect way, always drawing us to Himself.
