Praying God’s Word for Others

Susan Cady · November 25, 2024

Hey, my name is Jacqueline Hyder, and I'm going to share a quick prayer prompt with you this week. A great way to pray for someone you know and love or for yourself is to pray God's Word, to pray Scripture. And there's a verse in Psalm 138, verse 8, that says this. This is the ESV. The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me. That's the first part of that verse. In the New King James, it says that the Lord will perfect all that concerns me. I love praying this for the people in my life, my family members, my children. I even pray it for myself. And it's a wonderful way to pray because it's just asking God to do what he has set out to do in that person's life. And so you're praying his word, you're praying his will, and God is going to honor that. and you're going to bless someone by praying for them that way. I hope this helps you and we'll see you next time.
