Women of Warren
Encourage – From Overwhelmed to Overflowing
Jacqueline Heider · June 16, 2014
Grief … it’s unbearable. There are times in life when it overwhelms you. Where do you turn? Is the antidote in books or people? Do you turn to food, drugs, or other worldly pleasures in an attempt to kill the pain inside?
This week you will meet a courageous woman of faith. Through a video testimony she will share her story of love, loss, pain, but ultimately the grace that brought her from overwhelmed to overflowing.
Daniel testimony from WBC Media on Vimeo.
Will you call out to Jesus and ask Him to lower His hand to you? He will do it! It won’t be easy, but God will get you through.
If you are struggling with grief and need further guidance, follow this link to the website for Grief Share. You will find tools and encouragement to help you take the next step to healing.
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
Our church offers a Grief Recovery support group, as well. The next session begins in August. You can find the information for registration here.
