“One of the main reasons our generation, and I'm included in this generation too, doesn't seek to make disciples or evangelize or share the gospel is because we believe we do not have the tools and knowledge to equip us. We don't have to believe that because of what Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17, which says, I think I have it on the screen as well, all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction,”

“It was because he trusted God at his word. He was anchored at the Lord. God's word is a lamp to our feet. Psalm 119, 105. God's word is breathed out useful to us. 2 Timothy 3, 16 through 17. And God's word stands forever. Everything else might need crack. His word stands forever. Isaiah 40, verse 8. We encourage our young people that. Get in God's word.”

“Matthew 28, 18 through 20, and 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17. And I'll look at those a little later with you. We'll look at all scriptures a bit later. But it is in the Bible. I mean, how much of the Bible do we pay attention or do we ignore? The whole Bible is important. I know there are some passages that are a little less interesting, like the genealogies or all the names. But did you know that every name in the Bible means something specific?”

“why does Bible prophecy matter? It's in the Bible. We forget that one. You know, we're called to study the whole Bible, but it's in the Bible. 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17 says, all scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and training in righteousness. So So everything from Genesis 1-1 to Revelation 22-21 is God-breathed and is profitable.”

“then live out your life in freedom and devotion to Jesus. As a church, we bank everything we have on 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17 that says that all scripture is breathed out by God and it's profitable for teaching and reproof and correction and training in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. “2 Timothy chapter 3, verses 16 and 17. And if you were anything like me growing up in church, I used to get real stressed out when the pastor would tell me to navigate to a book of the Bible because I didn't have a clue where they were. And so if that's you this morning, that's okay. If you flip towards the latter part of the Bible, it's with all the T chapters, sandwiched between 1st and 2nd Thessalonians and Titus. You can find it there.”
