Depravity

“though they haven't been born yet. Number three, no depravity. Depravity is a big word. What does that mean? Depravity means corruption and wickedness. You can think of it as evil. We believe as Christians that as much as we want to believe that we're naturally good people, as much as we want to believe that people are good on their own, we're not. Romans 3.23 says this, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Psalm 51 even goes so far as to say that in sin I was”

And if we give everybody better economics, better education, better environment, that they're going to thrive and all of life's problems are going away. It's not what he doesn't have, it's what he does have, and that's a sinful nature. He's depraved.”
