Surrendering

“you will understand what actually surrendering to Jesus looks like. And so if you're taking notes with me today, and I hope that you are, I have three main points I want us to kind of see and perceive in the text about what it looks like to be a person defined by a surrendered heart. Number one, surrender begins with the posture of our hearts. Surrender begins with the posture of our hearts. Surrender starts with a posture of openness and humility and authenticity before God,”

“and so what i want you to see is that as paul's explaining who god is he's inviting you to surrender so two ways that he wants us to surrender today as we spend this time on this particular passage number one he's inviting us to surrender personally he's inviting us to lay some things down personally in and of ourselves but the second thing is is not only are we to surrender”

“because I think our response should always be surrender. Simply surrender. there's this all-encompassing word. It's actually three words in our English version, but one word in the Hebrew.
