Truth

“The fact that this gospel is bearing fruit in the world and that ultimately it is the word of truth and the grace of God is known in truth. That's not an uncommon phrase for us. How many times have you heard somebody say, I'm telling you this is the gospel truth. People do that all the time. They talk about the gospel truth. And it means this is real truth. You can count on this. This is really believable. This is the real deal. It's the gospel truth.”

“Declare the truth and believe it. Just as Jesus declared the truth, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds of the mouth of God, he wasn't just quoting scripture, he was trusting God's word, God's truth to be his strength and to be his defense. What does James tell us here back again in James 1 and verse 16? He simply says, do not be deceived, my brothers. every good gift and every perfect gift”
