Life Group FAQs

What is the purpose of Life Groups?

To connect with others through living out biblical community as modeled in Acts 2:42-47.

What do we study?

Primarily, sermon-based curriculum built around the Sunday morning message at Warren Grovetown. Occasionally, groups will do a Bible or book study, spiritual formation or disciplines practice, or some other topical focus as needed.

What does a typical Life Group gathering look like?

Life groups are 1.5-2 hours in duration that are centered around fellowship, the Word, and prayer. Some groups share a meal or dessert together. Each group has their own unique rhythm and identity as they gather.

Do I have to stay in the group that I visit first?

No! All leaders and groups understand that people will visit and are encouraged to try multiple groups to see where the Lord leads you. No hurt feelings!

What about childcare?

The majority of groups do not provide onsite childcare. However, the church provides childcare reimbursement to help cover some of the costs of a babysitter. See your life group leader to receive the childcare reimbursement form.

Why do I need this?

Biblical community is a beautiful place to connect and live life with others. We were made for community with both the Triune God and with His people. Come, connect, and allow yourself to be more fully grafted into the life and community of His church at Warren.
